The + baseplate is great!

The plus plate adds that extra edge to an already great razor; highly recommended and a must for those who are using the earlier baseplate!

Smooth but effective "plus" plate

The "original" base plate is rather mild. Good for daily use. But, once you get used to it, the "plus" plate, while still smooth, is much more effective. It is perfect for me as I need not shave every day. Buying both plates was at the right choice.
