Hair-On Calf Hide, 2 to 3 oz.

The hide itself is beautiful and the quality is great. However, it appears the hide was folded and placed in a plastic bag during packing. As you know, hides should always be rolled rather than folded. Folding creates a hard crease that is difficult to remove and can damage the hair along the fold line. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened here. There is a crease running down the center that has not flattened out, and the hair along that line is missing. I considered returning it, but I didn’t have the time to wait for the turnaround since I needed it for an order. I was able to work around the damaged section to complete the piece, but roughly 25% of the hide ended up being unusable because of the crease and hair loss. I wanted to bring this to your attention since rolling hides during packing would prevent this issue

This beautiful skin was lovely to work with. Silky hair on hide makes a gorgeous bag that people want to pet when I walk by.

Hide is good quality. A bit smaller than i expected and very plain (got a completely brown hide) But other than it just not being what i wanted it is great
