Leather Tooling Kit

Great starter kit, could use a bevel edger knife, jewelers rouge for the swivel knife, a small bevel tool for the tight spots, a couple of swivel knife practice patterns and a 4x4 block or 2 of nice herman oak leather to practice on. Then it could be the COMPLETE leather tooling kit.

Great starter set, it got me on my leather crafting journey.

Leather Tooling Kit

As someone who is trying leather tooling for the first time, this kit seems okay. I wish the 6 tools that come together in their own package had a list of what they are. As a newbie, it is hard to know what tool is what, and what it should be used for. I’ve been watching YouTube videos to try to decipher them. There aren’t names on the description on the website or the packaging for these 6 tools to tell me what they are. The others that are included have stickers on the plastic bags which is very helpful.
