Well made, solid construction, well balanced and comfortable to use. Perfect for flattening stitches without leaving any hammer head or other marks on the leather. I expect to get many years of use out of this hammer.

Beautiful American Made Hammer

This is a beautiful hammer made in the USA, and can feel the quality when you hold it. The face is not polished, as it should be for a shoe hammer, because it needs to have that bite when hitting a nail/tack. So if you plan to get it to hammer down stitch lines then know you will have to polish the head some more. Very pleased with Weaver and CS Osborne!
