Great boots, but need broken in

Very stylish and well built boot. I love the light color. I have had hot spots on my pinky toes the first time wearing them. I think they just need to be broken in a bit.

I ordered my first pair of Amberjack Chelsea Boots on 2/01/2024. After 18 months of 5 days a week usage I can honestly say they are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I’ve ever worn. I’ve neglected to maintain the outside like I should but they still look great for that amount of usage. I generally wear a 12W but they were not available in wide sizes then so I got a 12.5. They fit fine but were a bit snug around the top of my foot when wearing thicker athletic socks. This was negligible to the overall all day comfort of the shoes but I recently ordered my 2nd pair of Chelsea’s (honey) and sized up to a 13. The 13 fits much better and that will be my go to size until all colors are available in wide sizes. I highly recommend these shoes for all day comfort and quality that lasts. They were originally marketed for pilots but I can tell you that the well dressed investigator should make these part of their wardrobe. What would I like to see? I would like to see a less formal square toe design. If you’re on the fence, just make your purchase. You won’t regret it.
