You can feel the heat immediately when you put it on. Bought it for a backpacking trip. It is lightweight. I think it will be perfect.

I got a chance to wear it this week. It was 36 degrees outside and i had to take my husband to work. So I wore the jacket and it was amazing. I did not get cold or hot in it. It was comfortable and held up well to wind and 36 degree weather. I could tell this was going to be a great purchase.
