Basil Seeds - Lettuce Leaf - (Organic)

Grew microgreens with them. Taste different and unique. I love them.

Great germination!

Started these about 2 weeks ago. I think these are nearly 100% sprouting (they are hard to see). I'm used to less success so I planted 3 times more than I need. I repotted them into cells today. I have one flat, with four place cells, planted with 4 baby basil's per cell. So much basil! Friends and neighbors will be gifted basil plants. To sprout, they were sprinkled on top of regular potting soil. No soil or chicken scratch to cover. Placed in a southern facing window. A heated mat is underneath growing tray. The tray is lined with perforated tray. The tray is covered in a tall plastic dome (8 inches tall) to preserve moisture. We have forced air heating. The house gets dry. I am pleasantly surprised at how good these seeds germinated. This is my first time buying from this company. I will buy from them next year.

Germination rate

Just now germinating, good so far. Germination rate is really good with True Leaf Market seeds. Overall experience is excellent!
