Gibraltar 2.3mm Triple Flanged Steel Drum Hoop

I bought a Gibraltar triple flanged, 2.3 mm hoop to replace the worn hoop on a 10" tom I just purchased from Ebay. My initial reaction of seeing and holding the rim, was that it was so much heavier and the chrome looks like its triple plated because the shine was so bright and polished. It definitely makes the other rim wimpy in comparison. Good purchase! Will be buying more. makes the previous rim
