Makes mincing easy

I was surprised at how effective this mezzaluna is in mincing raw vegetables without much pressure. The sharp edge of the knife does the work, and all I have to do is rock the knife back and forth. I have to frequently mince vegetables for family members with chewing problems, so this is a much appreciated timesaver for me. I am very happy with this purchase.
