Beef Goulash

Good, but Needs Extra Seasoning

First off, this is Hungarian-style goulash, not the American version I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing. It has lots of beef in big chunks. Now, MRE mains are typically bland for broad appeal, but they usually include powdered hot sauce or something similar to spice things up if you want. Unfortunately, this one doesn't, so I recommend you plan for that if you're taking it camping. In my case, some red pepper greatly improved things. Overall it's a solid MRE, it just needs some hot sauce in the accessory packet.
