Very poor germination rate

I can't rate the seeds now. I'm late but going to try these seeds. I have sown them in peat pots inside where it is above freezing, in potting soil lightly watered. Wish me luck. The goldenrod seeds i have sown in peat pots in an unheated building as I understand these need to be cold. The seeds are under a grow light ~16 hrs a day. Again late.
