Calitone SplitCore™ Coil-Split Optimized Humbucker Set - Alnico 5

The Calitone SplitCore humbuckers are fantastic and very musical sounding. I chose the coverless option in order to get the greatest clarity. They were installed in a new Schecter Banshee Mach 6 with coil splitting via the tone knob. I like the ability to split coils at times and, as advertised, the Calitones do not lose volume when split. "Tone" is obviously a subjective quality but these pickups achieve what I hoped for and then some. They replaced a set of much hyped British pickups which had replaced the stock Swedish pickups. The clarity and musicality of the Calitones is unreal. Not to mention they cost 1/2 as much as either of their predecessors. And I like the fact they're made in the USA. So I would absolutely recommend the Calitones.
