A sepia surprise!
Having bought the other three David Fletcher British tank-history books it was a pleasant surprise to see the "oldest" one printed in Sepia. Vey appropriate I think and a fine job.
As a motorcycle enthusiast I was delighted to see the chapter on the "Fighting Motorcycles".
The illustration on pp156 of the No.5 battery MMGS is interesting in having Douglas machines in the foreground but without crediting them as such.
I still have to finish this book - as a tyro of tank history - but can I add another piece of mis-information I found in the "Universal Tank" book?
On pp11 - the Daimler Dingo photograph - the aeroplane illustrated is not as captioned an Avro Anson. It's a French C445 Goeland.
Overall though, these are fantastic reprints and most interesting and informative to a Tank Newcomer. Many thanks!!

Very readable and informative
A good, detailed overview of WWI fighting vehicles. Particularly interesting for the Armoured cars and motorcycles, about which less has been written elsewhere than the tanks.
