Mesh Cover System for Elevated Bed

Very helpful for western sun

This is a lifesaver in my high altitude garden. My bed faces west and the afternoon sun is intense. This allowed me to grow peppers, beets, and onions with very high success. I leave it open until about noon for pollinators, then close it up in the afternoon (leaving one zipper open as an escape route. Highly recommend!!

I'm so glad that I purchased the mesh cover system for my 8' x 2' elevated bed. Not only does it filter the sunlight that beats down on my vegetables all day, but the metal support structure provides a built in trellis for cucumber and tomato plants. Most importantly, the mesh cover is an excellent barrier against garden pests. The velcro squares attached to the front of the cover to hold it open are a great feature, as are the side straps for keeping the cover tight to the base. The system is fairly easy to put together, but I found it a little time consuming (second person is definitely helpful). I love the whole setup, and will be purchasing another elevated bed and cover system for next season.
