Perfect Gate for Adventurous Toddlers and Pets

We bought this gate to install at the bottom of our stairway to prevent our 1 year old granddaughter from being able to crawl up the stairs (she is very adventurous!). The installation was easy and straightforward and the fit is very sturdy. It's also attractive and easy to use. It also helps to keep our bulldog from roaming upstairs, which is an added bonus. Definitely gives us peace of mind, I highly recommend!

This gate is everything advertised and more! Truly an exceptional product!!

Secure gate relatively easy to install if attaching to wood framing vs drywall. Could use a little better instruction on how to open. Unsure if squeezing the top and bottom gray pieces of hand release should allow gate to be swung open or squeezing and lifting gate is required to swing it open. If former then my gate release isn’t functioning as it should as I have to squeeze release and lifting gate to allow it to be swung open.
