But it is also easy to pay a buck per hook for the best of the best. If you are looking for a strong hook with pleasing design, if you are also willing to take stone or file to the point, then these hooks are, in my opinion, unsurpassed. the barbs can be smashed, and the hook can be bent to tie bonefish puffers, with a shape very similar to the "bend back" design.
