There were multiple items in this order and I have other reviews that talk about these sheets and the other items. As I said, in my other review, I purchased these cotton sheets, mainly for the color, which appears to be a beautiful jewel tone teal. When I received them, I was extremely confused at first, and then disappointed when I realized that the color shown is nothing like the actual product; it is basically a dusky blue. The fact that the color is listed as " Aegean ", and not an actual color name makes it difficult for customers to know for certain what color they are receiving. I did not return the sheets because they are very nice, just not the color I was expecting. I love this company's products and am a recurring customer.

Way more blue/navy than turquoise
The cover appears to be good quality and feels good on the skin, but the color is definitely more blue than turquoise/teal, as another reviewer noted. It would be helpful to get better images on the site.

Just OK
I am actually pretty disappointed in this duvet cover, especially considering how much it was. And there are a few main things that impacted my disappointment: 1. Color I purchased this duvet cover in “Aegean,” and I was expecting a lovely deep, dark teal. It’s not. It’s navy. Or “midnight blue,” if you want to call it that. I am aware of the general internet disclaimer that colors may appear different when it comes to lighting and screen differences, but there are no green, teal or even turquoise undertones to this blue. It’s just - it’s blue. Plain old navy blue. 2. Ties To preface this, I also have the “Does-It-All” duvet insert from Bed Threads. So you know - same company. The duvet insert has loops on all 4 corners, and also on all 4 sides. So 8 loops total on the duvet insert. Except for whatever reason, this cover, made by the same company, only has ties in the 4 corners. Not having additional ties on the sides causes some decent slippage, especially if the duvet insert+cover you’re using are king size, which mine are. When putting the cover on my insert, I actually used safety pins on the sides to keep things more stable. But like. Why? I just don’t get it. 3. Texture Right out of the box, I thought this duvet cover felt rough to the touch. Before using it for the first time, I washed it with extra softener, and it still felt rough to me. I know the cover will theoretically soften with use, but how long is that actually going to take? If you’re like me and suffer from some tactile sensory issues, you should probably skip out on this cover. Side note: because of its rough texture, this cover is a pet hair MAGNET. Mine is absolutely COVERED in pet hair and other fuzzles, and it is especially noticeable due to the duvet’s dark color. Overall, probably would not buy again, but I’m giving it some stars because it does do its job protecting my duvet insert.
