Expensive and worth it!

I just love the smoothness and color of the Cream sheets I purchased. Thread count is perfect. They fit my king matress perfect. I have a 13" matress and stays put. I feel like I am at a nice hotel every night.

Starched

These sheets, after washing and a gentle dry, feel more like a crisp, starched shirt. Though i do find them breathable. Coming off of the old school softer linen sheets for decades, there has been a big acclamation period going on. I am, however, beginning to get used to their unique texture and feel. They do seem like good quality. And are a bit heavier like i had wanted. However, honestly, i do not think i would have purchased them knowing what i know now. Although they are starting to grow on me. Maybe with a few more washes they will loosen up some more.
