This is my favorite conditioner. After shampooing, I'll leave this on for the recommended time and then move on to styling my hair. Sometimes, if my hair is really tangled after shampooing, I'll use a detangling gel, like flaxseed or aloe vera, right after to help detangle my hair again, and then I'll put the rice water contioner on top. That method helps with less breakage for me, even if I pre poo. No other products work for me like this rice water contioner. With every wash day, I get less shedding and breakage when I use As I Am products. I highly recommend it.
