Definitely adds moisture and shine. Don’t need moisture seal lotion afterwards. Hair is lightweight after blow dry. I added a bit of oil and then gel. Looks great

This stuff is magical...

I have dry, brittle, straight from the motherland 4c hair. Every 5-6 weeks I use this magical product, washing my hair then conditioning with this and sitting under a hood dryer for 30 minutes. When I wash it out, my hair is so soft. When I then use the Moisture Seal on my wet hair to do my two-strand twists... stiff where?! For the first time my life, I can do my twists myself and they have motion! Is she Cécred? Yes I am Cécred for the rest of my life!!

Definitely works better with heat. I have low porosity type 4a hair and it did sort of sit on my hair without heat. I used a hooded dryer with the mask the next time I used it and it made my hair so soft and manageable! Left it shiny and defined
