Good starter with a fiddler's caveat

This pen is a great starter pen if you're interested in penabling a friend or starting your own fountain pen journey. It won't break the bank and you can switch out inks quickly with standard international short cartridges. I have the medium nib and it writes very smoothly. The pen is light and the construction might feel cheap to some who are into more elaborate pens. However, this is great for something to throw in your bag, have as a backup, or use as an ink tester. One caveat is that if you fiddle with your pen and like to tap the cap on a surface, you'll find that ink will eject from the nib and the cap's finial is not leak proof. Otherwise, it's a great pen that will work for just about anyone.
