The Jacque Herbin straight glass dip pen is great to try ink samples and to have fun while practicing penmanship in a variety of colors. They are beautiful and they write well, holding a lot of ink.

This pen is awesome for switching inks quickly. I got a bunch of samples and this let me test them all out in 1 sitting. I appreciated the small piece of sandpaper that was included to help smooth out the nib. It was also nice to have a narrow pen that could fit into the sample bottles without hitting the edges.
