Gentle toning conditioner

I gave this conditioner a try after disastrous results with another purple conditioner from a different brand that I bought at a beauty store (price was similar to Davines). The colour is dark purple in the container but quickly turns light lavender, almost white when smoothed into wet hair after shampooing. I didn't think I would notice the toning effect but it really helped get rid of warm/brassy tones in my highlighted hair. The other conditioner left my hair tangled and dry as straw, so I'm glad I didn't give up on purple products altogether. This one worked well and I'll consider getting the shampoo in this line as well.
