PVT Hipbelt with Pockets

Really digging the option to personalize and the pivot quality. Wish the pull tabs came from the hips though. Kind of digs into the belly and doesn't hold firm

The Perfect addition to my Gossamer pack as a bigger guy. Fits great, and the side pockets are easy to access.

As a female, I appreciate that Gossamer Gear provided the option of swapping out the standard hip belt for the curved one in the Mariposa 60. It's already a comfortable pack but the curved belt is a better fit. One observation is that the pockets are slightly closer together (in the back) on the S/M curved belt than on the straight belt that came with my size M pack. For me, the difference did not make them less accessible. The pocket zippers are easy to zip/unzip and I like that the zippers come down a little in the front - makes accessing the contents easier. The pockets are roomy enough for my use - my phone fits but I usually keep it in an accessory pocket attached to my shoulder strap anyway. I am not a fan of the center pull adjustment on the belt. It's much harder to pull center out than side forward. Hoping I just get used to it. For now, I use two hands to do one side, then the other.
