Could Have Been Better

Great customer service. Got to speak with the owner for 20 minutes who gave advice and patiently answered every question I had. Very knowledgeable! A true expert in the field! I had lost package situation through USPS at no fault of the company and the owner was attentive to helping me go through the process of locating the package. I was disappointed concerning craftsmanship on the long Lexan as it had some handling scratches on the face and outside edges were sanded noticeably unevenly and that was the main paddle I really wanted. The scratches and the noticeably uneven edges really took away from my first impression and I was disappointed. The Barber strap is nice however has a little gouge in the wood near the top of the handle. The other two Lexan pieces I ordered were fine. I expected more from the company and new products. The first two wood paddles I ordered from a different company were literal flawless works of art in both appearance and functionality with perfect craftsmanship so that was my baseline for comparison. I was hoping to have the same appreciation for these paddles but I unfortunately did not. I would order again but manage expectations concerning craftsmanship. Overall experience and satisfaction with the process and products a 3. Had the two main paddles, not had the craftsmanship issues, rating would’ve been a solid 5.
