Gold Dust Translucent HTPLA with Gold Glitter

No joke I have customers who are obsessed with this color. “Make the entire table covered in it please” nothing out there looks anything close. I’m in awe honestly so gorgeous so much sparkle this color is a must to add to your base catalog

Pretty color, but so brittle half the roll was wasted

This really is a pretty color, and so I admit I had high expectations of it. I own a lot of Protopasta filament and I generally know what to expect. Some of the filaments are unusually brittle, but this one was even more so than most. After a stringy print I tried drying the roll, but it didn't seem to do much to improve the quality. Unfortunately, after printing some Christmas ornaments that though stringy did turn out, I checked on the roll and heard cracking and the filament essentially snapped multiple places in all that remained, leaving essentially everything but a small coil ruined. For the price, it was a devastating loss. It's beautiful, but be aware that there is a risk there. I store my filaments carefully in airtight boxes with desiccant and I still had it fall apart. I really like Protopasta filaments in general, they have great colors but this one I cannot recommend unless you're prepared for half of it to be wasted.
