Brass-filled Metal Composite HTPLA

Great filament - easy to print, and I loved the density and look of it.

Really nice filament. Printed well and got a little shine with some sanding. A couple points: 1. When heat treating my parts they shrunk by 2% and warped some. The information from Proto-Pasta does say it will shrink I just did not think it would matter. It did - still learning. 2. I mostly correctly the warping with heat and a clamp but not fully. 3. If you plan of heat treating your part and polishing it heat treat it first. The shrinking when heat treating can cause small variation in the surface texture. Not a big deal but something to consider. I would suggest not heat treating unless it is purely necessary. I wanted the extra strength of heat treating but a part re-design would have been a better option for me.

I had trouble getting it to print correctly on my Bambu H2s. Unfortunately the material is too brittle for the project id hoped to use it for But! If you need this for a purely decorative object it is great. It does indeed feel very close to the real thing, it heavier, sounds different, feels different to just standard pla/petg etc. It polishes and oxadises great. If it wernt so brittle this would be perfect!
