Incredibly stout tie rod! The thing is solid steel! Not a tube, not hollow or any kind of DOM so how in the world are you gonna bend this thing unless you’re trying to be a rock bouncer?!? It should be plenty strong for the rock crawling and occasional sand dunes I do. Well made and didn’t have to ream the knuckles or anything. I did have to get creative with my steering damper mounts because it sits in a different place now than the factory jk one which sits lower I believe, but I really like that this one sits a tad more tucked up. Cavfab could not have made a better product with this! This solved my strength issue from when I started wearing out tie rods and my front tires wore unevenly from riding sand dunes which due to the factory tie rod getting wallowed out at the adjustment point, it wore the track bar bushings and front control arm Johnny joint bushing out which gave me death wobble. The death wobble was fixed by replacing the track bar and control arm bushings, but this tie rod should prevent that from happening again at least as bad as it was. Well done CavFab! They’re local to the Chattanooga area so if you’re close by roll on by and skip the shipping! They have a sweet shop! Plus they started by making XJ parts so you know that means they can make anything! Very reasonable price as well!
