Rings are Better than Me

I bought the 1.11-inch diameter, 7.5-ft strap version.  The rings are well made and fit nicely in my hand for a secure grip (I'm a very average 5'10" 190-lbs).  The quality of the rings and the straps are well worth the purchasing price (a bargain, in fact).   I wanted a "drop" (the distance from anchor to ring) of 7-feet in order to do movements closer to the ground; I thought the 7-foot (vs. 14) version of the strap would be perfect, but because I'm an idiot, 7-feet was ½ perfect (note, the FAQ clearly explains the "maximum usable length of the strap", but I just got too excited and didn't read that).  A lower anchor point corrected my mistake.    The purchasing & delivering experience was per REP's standard, which is excellent. I'm deducting a ½ star from the review because of the assembly instructions (there is very little assembly, just attach the strap and thread the buckle); an average Boy Scout or anyone with buckle experience will have no problem, but refer to my earlier ineptitude.   The instructions don't match the buckle; that is, the buckle in the picture isn't the buckle that came.  The rings & straps are close to perfect; I am not. 

Nice rings with sturdy straps. Have been using them for a couple weeks and they're great.
