Maiden voyage was a success!

We've taken our maiden voyage in our new Oru Kayaks. They did well on a creek. We were thankful we could fold them up because we had a hill to climb after taking them out of the creek. We would appreciate a front pull strap so if you want to pull the kayak up out of the water you would have an easier time of it.

Unfolding an experience

I was looking for a lightweight kayak to downsize to from my 40 plus pound inflatable. I love my inflatable, it’s like riding in a luxury kayak but as I’ve added years I have needed more help. The Oru Lake sport is like a sports car! It allows me to be independent! The first set up was challenging but it has gotten easier. I love the wide cockpit because it allows me to sit cross legged. The seat is uncomfortable after a few minutes so I added a thick cushion to keep me from sitting flat.Huge relief to my back. Take down is a breeze! I love this easy kayak! One improvement I would like to see (literally) easy to read identification. I can not read the registration number to register my Lake.
