I ordered the black glitter shimmer shade hoping it would show up as a soft black instead of a stark harsh color since they don't have a brown option. It looks great under the lash line which is what I'm using it as. It is a little darker than what I would like for an everyday look but it is so easy to apply and it doesn't irritate my lash line at all. I just hope that it doesn't give an issue when it comes time to sharpen the pencil since the formula is very creamy.

Pleasantly Surprised by the Black Shimmer! I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant to order the black shimmer eye pencil since I’ve been loyal to a chocolate brown shade from another brand. At 84 years young, I was concerned the black might look too harsh. But I’m so glad I gave Epilynx a try! The color is soft yet defined, with just the right amount of shimmer to brighten my eyes without overpowering them. It glides on effortlessly, feels gentle, and stays put all day. I use it only on the outer corners with a small wing, and it beautifully opens up my eyes. A lovely find that makes me feel polished and confident!
