I had a go at felting and it was that bit of relaxation I needed. Looked at a lot of sites but the bundle on offer from Hawthorn Handmade appealed with the wool, source, colours on offer and value for money. Nearly finished a handcrafted heart which looks great with the red wool from the Christmas colours box. Next going to try freehand reindeer head to make extra gift tags For Christmas. I am not arty at all so a first for me.

I’m an absolute beginner with fibre craft. At first, I thought I would only be interested in needle felting. I haven’t used any of the wools yet, I’m still researching ‘how to needle felt and different wool type characteristics. I really don’t want to waste my quality new British Breed Wools. As they were some of my first purchases in my new fibre art adventure, I want these high quality wools to be used as skilfully as I can, and not waste them on practice pieces. I’m really pleased with their high quality and a purchase from a reputable supplier I will cherish a positive memory of acquiring this wool bundle forever. They are not just fine wool, they are a valuable learning source and experience.

i bought 3 bundles of all different colours and as i had never felted before didnt know what to expect but i was pleased with this wool and have been busy to put it to good use haha it's great fun and the outcome is lots of laughter from me and my husband coming up with some fun things during lock down the wool is very good quality and easy to use and would recommend it to anyone .
