I bought the universal phone and tablet holder version. My wife wanted a stereo with car play but this was definitely a better option for the price comparison. It holds the phone securely. Way better than her suction cup mounts that are on the floor every other day. It also allows the phone to be lower and not blocking visibility. The tablet holder will be great for her so she can use maps for navigation like a high dollar stereo screen. Installation was simple and can add to it if you like. Only complaint I have is the arm for the tablet holder could have been a little bit longer that came with it.

Sturdy and Made Well

After have a few versions of phone mounts, this one is the most well-built of quality materials. Installation could have been clearer, providing directions would help. The mounting system is solid, and the phones have not moved while bouncing down the road.

Great over all but one glaring problem

This kit is super high quality and over all I’m very happy with it. Holds my phone great and is very adjustable. Sadly, there is a small critique and one big issue. The small critique is about the instructions. The instructions could but been a little better with images and such but if that was the only issue I wouldn’t have mentioned it. The big issue is the bolts that replace the factory mounting screws. The ones included in kit did not work with the factory mounting clip nuts. I attempted several ways to make the included screws work and when I couldn’t; I went to 2 separate stores to find other options with no luck. I luckily had extra metric clip nuts and bolts that works perfectly from my Suzuki motorcycle plastic hardware kit.(see the gold bolts in the pictures) Without that luck I would not have been able to install this kit.
