Paul Robeson Tomato

New favorite tomato!

I grew 10 tomato varieties last year and Paul Robeson out performed all the others. It produced early and consistently all season. I share garden produce with others and this was also a favorite of theirs. Not only are they beautiful on the plate, they have tender skins and that rich, delicious tomato flavor that you dream of. Well worth the space in the garden.

It's really dissapointing to get a dwarf instead of the tomato you paid for.

I bought several tomatoes from Threshseed in anticipation of gardening season so I was really glad to try one out when I bought the Aerogarden Farm 12 XL before regular garden season. I planted the Paul Robeson which is one of my favorite tomatoes. Turns out the tomato plant I got was a dwarf no taller than a foot high. It's got tomato blooms but they are likely cherry tomatoes. I suppose I should be glad that I know this before wasting my time in my outside garden. This is only one tomato among the seven I bought but it makes me nervous to plant the rest.
