Metro IQ® Reformer

Obsessed! Ended up getting the same one Melanie Lopez has in her videos making it easy to follow along and seems to be the lowest priced reformer on the market without sacrificing quality and safety. Only issues are the foot bar can't be put in a lower position and you have to take the foot bar off to put it "down". It's easy to do but it takes a moment so you need to pause videos while removing and putting it back on. I recommend getting your own padded double loop straps. This one has single loops and they're a little rough on the hands plus it's difficult to gauge where they need to be adjusted to, but once I get the double loops that I ordered (from Etsy) the bigger loop can hang on the shoulder pads so I'll know they're adjusted to have exactly the right length of slack on the rope. The shoulder pads on this can be wide or narrow which I appreciate for exercises where you need to face the straps and my large calf muscles only fit between the pads if I have them wide.

My metro IQ arrived and I’ve been using it most days with videos on YouTube! So far my only issue is I have narrow shoulders so I’m finding the shoulder pads too wide for me and a bit hard. I did flip them around to make sure I had them on the smallest setting but it still lands in an uncomfortable spot.

This has been a game changer! I purchased the Metro IQ reformer because live in a loft abut space was an issue. Now I can store it vertically behind the door in my bedroom. The library wheels are smooth and make moving the reformer effortless. I've also been able to practice more often than before because classes always fill up quickly at my studio. I've saved a ton of money on classes and it will pay for itself in no time!
