Easy install works well

Super easy install. Took about 10 min max. Set up with WiFi took some finagling since you can’t be connected to the car’s WiFi at the same time. But figured it out. Definitely an oem look!

Everything I wanted in a dashcam

I saw mentions of this product in VW ID.4 User Groups and then looked at different YT videos and review sites to see if the great comments were valid. There is consistency of good reviews so I purchased one for our 2023 Pro S+. Prior to shipping, FitcamX requires confirmation of make and model of your vehicle prior to shipping to insure 100% compatibility. The camera arrived quickly, surprisingly as it is shipped directly from China. Packaging is very clean and uncluttered and installation is straight forward (but not as quick as intimated in the video. What drew me to purchasing the camera was that it integrates completely into the car both electronically and esthetically. The video quality is amazing in all lighting conditions and it’s set and forget. The unit does not go stupid after powering off and initializes in seconds upon powering up. One can watch the video in realtime via its onboard WiFi portal or you can do deep reviews, playback or file copy by removing the SD card and using your home PC. In the few days it has been in service, I captured a near bird strike as well as a lot of bad behavior from fellow motorists. I hope it never comes into play as witness of a collision involving our vehicle. I am so impressed, I have ordered a “Universal” model for our 2013 Prius.
