St Geneve Embassy Duvet & Giza 92 Duvet Cover
Let me begin by stating that I do not write reviews of products. However due to my experience with Hydeaway, it warranted my first review of a product and company. To say that I am ecstatic about our new duvet would be an understatement. The world of duvet’s is a somewhat complex one. I spent numerous hours researching different brands, fill levels, type of down, source of down, baffle box construction, certifications, the list goes on. Price levels begin at a couple of hundred dollars up to many thousands of dollars for Eiderdown. What I determined is that all down/duvet’s are not created equal and that many games are played by manufacturers in how they fill the duvet's. At this point I made the decision to purchase a higher quality duvet and in the process of finding a reputable seller, I came across Hydeaway and Tyler (the owner of the company). Needless to say, for as much as I learned, Tyler guided me the rest of the way. He personally spent more than an hour with me on the phone discussing what I had learned, duvet construction, various options and what would be the best product to purchase based on my and my wife’s requirements. This personal touch rarely happens in today's world. Ultimately, we made the decision and investment to purchase a king size Polish White Goose Down 1,000 loft from St Geneve. One of the most important decisions was determining the correct fill. Because my wife and I live in a warmer climate, Tyler felt the summer fill would not be enough and the classic fill would be too much for year round use. Thus, we were able to order a custom fill between the two versions. Additionally, we purchased the St Geneve Giza 92 duvet cover (which is a must) & shams which match perfectly from a quality and workmanship standpoint. While this was not an inexpensive purchase (I come from the school that you get what you pay for), Tyler offered the best price we could find anywhere. Usually best price and exceptional customer service don’t go hand in hand, however in this case it did. As for the duvet it is beautifully made, is light in physical weight, yet provides the perfect comfort and warmth level we were looking for. Finally, everything arrived exactly within the stated delivery time. I can’t thank Tyler enough for everything he did to make this experience such a positive one.

St. Geneve Classic Embassy
At first I wished that it sat fuller and more cloud like on the bed. However, it really did take three days to reach full volume. It’s the lightest warmest duvet I’ve ever owned. It may be too warm for a Boston summer. TBD. But for most of the year it will be perfection.

Light and Warm
The duvet itself is very good, if a bit crinkly. However, as a hot sleeper, even the ultralight duvet with a linen duvet cover is too warm with a room temp of ~18C. I'm hoping I can get my room temp below 15C in the winter so I can enjoy the duvet.
