Galvan makes a very nice reel. I one several torque and brookies. Galvan makes a quality reel at a good price. I'm able to use thin running line without the hasle of it slipping through. Enjoy the performance and the ability to select what color I want for my reel.

A Thing of Beauty
I recently purchased a G. Loomis Spey rod and needed a reel for it. I had a couple of reels in mind but wasn't sure about it, so asked the folks at G. Loomis for a recommendation. The recommendation I got back was the Galvan Torque 10. That wasn't on my list, but since I already own a couple of Torques, the decision was a no brainer. I purchased the reel in green -- it is absolutely beautiful and exudes quality, like my other Torques. I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet, but it's a fabulous piece of machinery and I'm looking forward to putting it to use.

Great Reel!
I own multiple Galvan Torque reels and have bought most from Stillwater. Would not hesitate to do so again.
