I make fursuits basically for a living and I was starting to develop pains in my wrist area and thumbs and that's almost completely gone since I started using the it Since the motor runs at a steady Pace there's no globs of glue in one spot The heat up time is faster than expected Couldn't be happier with this product

Surebonder offers a motorized glue gun option at the $40 price point, and $1000 price point. There should be an option in between those two products. I am a professional model maker, and this product is certainly superior to the standard hand pump glue gun so far (only used it once), but I wish they added a rheostat to the feed motor allowing the user to determine how much glue is dispensed per period of time the trigger is depressed. As it’s set now, too much glue comes out for genuine detail work. If you’ve got a lot of ground to cover, great, but slowing down is impossible. This could be controlled either by the trigger (as on a power drill) or with a separate dial. It would improve the versatility of the product (while remaining affordable to the consumer). Nonetheless, for a smooth consistent bead, there is no substitute for auto-feed, be it a glue gun or a caulking gun.

Love this new glue gun. Very easy to use and easy on my wrist. You get a nice even application of glue. Next I'm hoping for longer mini glue sticks. I only use the colorful and glitter glue and it would be even better to be able to get continuous color.
