Croatian Classics cookbook

SO helpful

I love the way this cookbook is organized, and I appreciate having it in English, as my Croatian is not fluent. That doesn't mean my taste memories of Baka's kitchen are less vivid! The only change I'd make is having both sets of measurements, not just metric. Americans are weird like that.

Haven’t tried any recipes yet but I recognized a few recipes that my grandma made.

I love the way the book is laid out and the historical background. I can’t wait to try some recipes. I only have one complaint, a few of the recipes that I recognized called for sauerkraut and by the pictures it was from a whole head of cabbage. I’m not sue how to prepare the head of cabbage for these recipes and there’s nothing in the book on how to do it. Maybe you all can give me a heads up on how to do it. Thanks for the book, I’m excited to eat food that my grandfather and grandmother ate when they were growing up.
