Croatian Classics cookbook

Haven’t tried any recipes yet but I recognized a few recipes that my grandma made.

I love the way the book is laid out and the historical background. I can’t wait to try some recipes. I only have one complaint, a few of the recipes that I recognized called for sauerkraut and by the pictures it was from a whole head of cabbage. I’m not sue how to prepare the head of cabbage for these recipes and there’s nothing in the book on how to do it. Maybe you all can give me a heads up on how to do it. Thanks for the book, I’m excited to eat food that my grandfather and grandmother ate when they were growing up.

A Special Gift to Myself and My Family

I am so excited and happy to have received my two chosen Recipe Books a few days ago! They are brilliant in so many ways as they make me think of my own heritage as a Serbian/ Croation person and bring back beautiful memories of my mother teaching my borther Veljko and I how to cook traditional meals and sweets over the years, and of course eating the delicious food my mother cooked for us as a family. The Recipes are so detailed and the instructions simple as well as the images of the completed recipe. I have yet to show my family and friends my books and look forward to more cooking in the kitchen!! I am saving up to get the third book soon!! Thank you so much for creating them, superb effort and magical Recipes!!
