Book was great! I didn’t like Pali as a character but that means good writing - author was able to create a story where I felt something for the character.

I highly enjoyed reading this sequel to The Return of Fitzroy Angursell which I adored. It was lovely to read the events during where she was involved during Hands of the Emperor and Fitzroy's Return from her perspective. It wamred my heart to get to know Pali better and also to meet another former member of the Red Company and witness their reunion. This universe, the characters the whole plot gains more depth with every thread that gets woven into it. 🫶 Epic and awesome.
