Creamy gentle cleanser

I’m feeling so-so about this cleanser. I can’t tell how well it’s cleansing my face as it leaves a film layer even after I wash it off with warm water. The product overall is thick. I try squeezing a small amount of product out to my hand and it always comes out in large clump. Worried I might be using more than I’m suppose to.
