Runs really small

I'm surprised that so many people said the dress fit true to size. I typically wear a S or M for tops, so I bought a M assuming there wouldn't be a lot of stretch in the fabric. However, the M was so small that there was a gap of 2-3 inches between the zipper halves, so there was no way to get it zipped up. Also, the bust was about two inches above my actual bust. I ended up returning the dress (rather than exchanging), because I just wasn't sure if I'd need to order a L or XL and they charge a return fee.

This is a beautiful dress, and it fits me perfectly! I got it in a few different colors to wear to my ballroom dance lessons, it was very comfortable to dance in too.

Dress is beautiful but the high wait doesn't flatter my figure.
