Elastic Cummerbunds

The item is great. It would be nice if a shorter version is offered for soft body armour. Straps that are approximately 9 inches that can be detached with the tubes.

Super minimalist, but not scalable.

Super minimalist, if that’s what you’re after, this is the right place. It uses a hook and loop Velcro connection at both the front and rear, so make sure your carrier is compatible if you’re not running their native plate bags. I can’t give it 5 stars. I get that it’s meant to be minimalist, but having no MOLLE on the cummerbund feels like a missed opportunity. You can add MOLLE attachments that they sell, but they don’t feel like a real solution and they’re overpriced, especially if you plan to run multiple. At that point, you’re quickly surpassing the cost of cummerbunds that include way better features. The mag loops are cool but they are not the first or last company to do it. Also the pockets are just elastic, as is a majority of the cummerbund itself. To me, the inside should have some small amount of rigidity or padding. Passively standing you don’t feel it, but when you move around, those mags kinda have a tendency dig into you. At the end of the day, this is essentially elastic and Velcro with ROC buckles, which makes the price hard to justify. It’s not bad, the quality is solid, but for me these are staying as a lightweight backup for quick changeouts. Overall, they just aren’t very scalable. This company has A LOT of great stuff, this is just not where they shine in my opinion.
