Looks great over dark hair, not so much gray

As noted on the website, this color is super red if used on gray hair. I used it all over my dark brown hair the first time and loved it. Used it on the gray roots thinking it might be just a little lighter but it is fiery red. It would be a beautiful color if it worked with my olive skin, but it doesn't. Adding indigo today...
