Closest fit yet
FIT: (5 STAR)
Being that I have almost every possible alteration need for the mature person, this pattern had the best yet fit right out of the envelope. It made it fun to work on, since my fitting issues were minimal, compared to normal.
STYLE: (3 STAR)
1) With wide hips, I loved the A-line styling. I did not like the longer pointed godets on the sides. They emphasized what I was trying to hide. So, I will cut the hem even next time. 2) The neckline was cut way too low for me. Even when I added the cowl, it was too low. 3) The Cowl piece itself was very large and actually became very heavy. I would probably make the cowl smaller next time. BUT OVERALL, the way the pattern was designed for the mature figure is great!
