I have been using rotary cutters more lately due to problems with pretty bad rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. These cutters work well and are easier to use than scissors. The only drawback I have found is that the blades get dull more quickly than I expect. If you are conscious of the fact that even in a duller state the blades can do a lot of damage to careless handling, cutting material with a rotary blade is a better way to go. I just try to remember to look for sales before I am out of replacement blades completely. Also, the case for storage is an added safety feature. SincerelyFromMe2U
