I am a woman in her 30's with a very wide foot and always struggle to find comfortable shoes that aren't runners. I had a conference coming up where I knew I would be doing 15k+ steps each day and needed a shoe that I could wear with smart casual work outfits that would hold up to the demands. I was amazed at how comfortable these are and that I was able to wear them for four days straight with lots of walking and didn't experience foot or ankle pain. They didn't need to be "broken in" they were comfortable straight out of the box. Best part is, they passed the teenager test! I popped them on and showed my teenager, who said "they're fine mum, they just look like skate shoes". My husband has insisted that I get a few more pairs! I purchased the men's wide width as I couldn't find any shoes available in my size in the women's extra-wide width.
