These are nice placemats. I previously owned some of the coasters, so I decided to try these. I don't know if this color has more odd stuff, but there seemed to be some bits and pieces of something straw-like felted into the wool that I have mostly been able to pull out. For the price, I didn't expect this, but I am still happy with them.

I have Been using the round mats which i love , but did not comfortable house our large dinner plates and silverware at a setting . Ordered the ovals and now thrilled to set dinner table with the ovals , and use the round Matt’s for breakfast when i use A smaller plate . Perfect solution .
