Improves finish
Trying to get the finish smooth without the slick is possible but this just makes it so much easier. Like putting grease on an o-ring before installing it on a faucet.

Easy trowel
Wow, love this stuff as a beginner learning how to steel trowel countertop’s. This stuff helps keep it slightly creamy and workable. Helps jive those bad spots
